Sweet Olive Oil!!!

Do you tend to get spots on your nose where you can actually see whiteheads and blackheads peeping through? Or do you get a streak of your foundation caking on the sides of your nose? Well girls, there's a very good solution to that! All natural, if I may add! The fix may just be inside your cupboards! Good news, right?!

So, I was badly suffering from dry skin on the sides of my nose, forehead and on my jawline. I also noticed that whenever I apply my foundation, I get these eerie spots of whiteheads on the tip of my nose. It's gross, I know. But it's true. I tried everything, trust me.

I tried using baby soap for my skin not to be irritated. Tried using nose strips and face packs. Different kinds of toners and moisturizers and nothing helped.

One day, I just got tired of trying out things and started doing some research of my own. And I found that the one thing we have at home is actually healthy for the skin.

The Solution?! Ta-da!!!! Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Brown Sugar!

It might already be a common knowledge for some, but for those like me who resorted to trying everything which are out there in the market claiming all the things you want them to be, you'll never think of this being the solution.

What I did was I put on a tad bit of EV Olive Oil (like a teaspoon) and a lot of brown sugar (we're not diluting the sweetness here) and mixed it 'till it looked like a dough. I scrubbed a good amount on my face for about five to ten minutes and washed up my face with my regular cleanser.

It feels smooth and well-moisturized. Doesn't feel oily and gross. And oh, did I mention that I've been doing this at night before bed? Nah, I didn't! So, when I applied my makeup the next morning, there's no caking on the sides of my nose and the areas where there are dry skin and whiteheads looks flawless!

And to top it off, the remaining of the scrub I made, I used it for my arms and legs and it just feels like my 7-month old nephew's skin!

So, there you have it folks! Hope you like it as much as I do. But please be aware that this is my own opinion and experience. It might have worked for me but it won't for you. Give it a go, let me know if it works.

Xoxo,
Sarah  :)
