Women: How To Be Respected?

How to be respected as a woman? I guess it should start by respecting yourself.

I just left our office's event. I actually am a wallflower. I enjoy being on the sidelines, observing people getting wasted and all sweaty.

One that caught my attention was a lady clad in a skimpy white dress. It hugged her body perfectly, and it just fell below her bottom. Nothing's wrong with what she's wearing. She's in a party, anyway. What I think was wrong was how she acted.

I guess she was drunk, I don't know. But she swayed her body with the blasting music, holding a cup (I don't know what's in it). After a while, I noticed that her shoe's sole fell off and that she's starting to get rid of her boots and socks. Then she started swearing and flipping off to God know what or who.

Then a guy started going after her. Again and agin, he kept pursuing her. He kept on holding her, even after she told him that she's already committed.

I believe that if you wanna be respected, you should not act like you don't wanna be respected at all. You cannot demand respect if the aura you're giving off is the total opposite. As I mentioned earlier, there's nothing wrong with how she's dressed, but I think that she could still be sexy, even if she didn't show too much skin.

Girls, respect yourself. It's what I was thought, to never give guys reason to disrespect me as a woman. We all should be. Take care of yourselves. Don't act like guys could easily get you, or else you'd keep on getting disrespected.
