Review: Revlon ColorStay Foundation

I was out with a friend a month ago, I think. I wasn't planning on buying any make up but I ended up buying a few. One of the things I got was the Revlon ColorStay Foundation.

I have a very dry skin type, especially on my T-zone. That's kind of a problem for me, because I have tried so many products (including local brands), but nothing worked for me. It would always cake up or will smudge off. Then, I tried L'oreal True Match Foundation, and yet I'm a little disappointed 'cause my face turned flake-y, after hours of wearing it.

So, I tried Revlon ColorStay Foundation which claims to stay on 24 hours and that it won't fade, cake or rub off. I got interested and decided to try it out and write a review about it after using it for a month. 

Packaging wise, I'm not quite happy that it just comes in a bottle with no pump. I find it a bit messy to turn the bottle upside down, to get a bit of a product out of it. But, maybe because this is the first time I encountered such make up canister. Aside from that, I don't think I have any negative to say about it.

Let's move on to the product itself. Texture wise, the consistency of the said product is thick. If you place a small amount of the foundation at the back of your hand and you tilt it, you'd notice that it would not drip that easily. The smell is not going to bother you at all. It smells literally of make up but not too strong that you'd think otherwise of putting it on your face.

If there's something it claims that I really love about, is that it's really staying longer than 18 hours, doesn't rub off easily and it doesn't cake. As I've mentioned above, I have a very dry skin, that if I'm wearing make up longer than 4-5 hours, there are flakes visible and it's cake-y. But with this foundation, oh my gosh! I am so in love with this! Even without retouching, there's no visible shine or no visible form of foundation on the sides of nose, under my eyes, even on my forehead. 

You girls should try this out! I recommend this 100%, especially for those with Normal/Combination to Dry Skin. Revlon does stay to it's promise! You'd enjoy your day without worrying if your face looks like melted icing. I promise you, you'd love this as much as I do!
